Quilts are made with a combination of cotton/polyester and 100% cotton fabric of the highest quality and batting compromising of 95% cotton and 5% scrim. (Scrim is a very lightweight binder that is added to batting for strength during the manufacturing process. Battings that contain scrim are generally more stable and have less stretch than those without scrim) All quilts are machine and hand sewn with love and care.
Binding is done in traditional style, double folded and is machine sewn to the front and hand sewn on the back for a durable and neat finish
Quilt measures approximately 1m x 1.2m.
For best results it is best practice to hand wash your quilt in cold soapy water and dried on the line . Expect a 2% or less shrinkage the first time it is washed, this is normal for an all cotton quilt and will give it that lovely slightly puckered soft look of traditional hand made quilts.
